Ho KY, et al. - Two approaches for achieving smoking abstinence were compared among smokers in an outpatient clinic: quitting immediately vs cutting down to quit. Findings suggested that quitting immediately vs cutting down to quit might be more effective at 6 months but not at 12 months.
