Gagnadoux F, et al. – In this prospective nonrandomized study, the researchers intended to assess the efficacy of a titrable, thermoplastic mandibular advancement devices (MAD) compared to a custom–made MAD for obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) therapy. This research showed the efficacy of a titrable thermoplastic MAD in decreasing sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) and related symptoms in patients with mild to severe OSA. Six–month adherence was high despite more dental discomfort than with a custom–made device.
