Ferreira MS, et al. - A comparative scrutiny was conducted of the conventional adenoidectomy technique with two other emerging techniques, carried out in a reference otorhinolaryngology center. An improvement was yielded in the quality of life through the adenoidectomy. No significant postoperative complications were reported, for all operated children, irrespective of the technique used. Compared to the more modern adenoidectomy techniques, the conventional technique was disclosed to be faster.
