Comparison of the efficacy and safety of dinalbuphine sebacate, patient- controlled analgesia, and conventional analgesia after laparotomy for gynecologic cancers: A retrospective study
Journal of Pain Research Jun 17, 2021
Chang SH, Chang TC, Chen MY, et al. - The effects of dinalbuphine sebacate (DNS), fentanyl-based patient-controlled analgesia (PCA), and conventional analgesia (CA) were investigated in pain management after laparotomy for gynecologic cancers. A total of 137 eligible patients were divided into following three groups: the intramuscular DNS, intravenous PCA, and CA groups. Outcomes revealed greater effectiveness of single DNS injection for relieving POP when compared with PCA and CA in the patients who had a longitudinal incision for gynecologic cancer surgery. Patients showed good tolerance towards DNS with exhibition of less adverse effects than PCA and CA.
