Comparison of the diagnostic performance of synthetic vs acquired high b-value (1500 s/mm2) diffusion-weighted MRI in women with breast cancers
Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Aug 26, 2018
Park JH, et al. - In women with breast cancer, researchers compared the diagnostic performance of synthetic and acquired high b-value (1500 s/mm2) diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI). Participants in this retrospective study were 108 patients (median age 49 years [range 32–77]) with 133 breast cancers. Compared with acquired high b-value DWI, the synthetic high b-value DWI might improve the diagnostic sensitivity for breast cancer detection without influencing positive predictive value.
