Einan-Lifshitz A, et al. - In patients who underwent noniridectomized Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK), the effectiveness and safety of 20% sulfur hexafluoride gas (SF6) and air tamponade were compared by the experts. Findings indicated that the use of air with it being readily available and short acting served as a good technique of Descemet membrane tamponade in noniridectomized DMEK.
