Zaki MN, et al. - Researchers performed a comparison of stainless steel staples vs subcuticular suture for skin closure for cesarean delivery in Class III obese women with body mass index of ≥ 40 kg/m2. They observed that among Class III obese women undergoing cesarean delivery, patients having staples and those having subcuticular suture skin closure were not different in composite wound outcome up to 6 weeks postpartum.
