Seo K, et al. - This study aimed to compare the efficacy of sofosbuvir plus ribavirin (RBV) treatment with pegylated interferon (peg-IFN) plus RBV treatment for chronic hepatitis C genotype 2. Compared to peg-IFN plus RBV, the treatment with sofosbuvir plus RBV resulted in not only a higher sustained virological response (SVR) but also improved the liver function and the degree of fibrosis.
