Gong J, et al. - Authors probed into the long-term efficacy and safety of self-made cryopreservative fibrin glue (SMC) applied in pterygium surgery. Similar efficacy was revealed by SMC and standard commercial fibrin glue kit (CK) for autograft fixation in pterygium surgery. Additionally, SMC exhibited good safety after long-term follow-up. Owing to its convenience and low cost, this new method ought to be popularized, particularly in the underdeveloped area.
