Feng X, et al. - In this work, a comparison was performed of the rates of recanalization and in-stent stenosis between the Enterprise and Low-profile Visualized Intraluminal Support(LVIS) stent deployments for intracranial aneurysms(IAs), and the factors associated therein. Findings revealed acceptable rates of complete and near-complete occlusion with both LVIS and Enterprise stents. Although the difference was not significant, LVIS stents seemed to achieve a lower rate of recanalization and in-stent stenosis than Enterprise. Higher size ratio (SR) (≥2) seemed a relevant predictor of recanalization in IAs treated with Enterprise stents, but not those treated with LVIS stents.
