Comparison of quantitative regional ventilation-weighted Fourier decomposition MRI with dynamic fluorinated gas washout MRI and lung function testing in COPD patients
Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Nov 29, 2017
Kaireit TF, et al. - Researchers perform a comparison of regional fractional lung ventilation obtained by ventilation-weighted Fourier decomposition-MRI (FD-MRI) with dynamic fluorinated gas washout MRI (19F-MRI) and lung function test parameters. Findings suggest that for quantification of regional ventilation in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients, regional ventilation-weighted Fourier decomposition-MRI is a promising noninvasive, radiation-free tool.
