Comparison of post-therapy dysphonic voices and normal voices
Journal of Voice Feb 19, 2018
Schaeffer N, et al. - The voices of post-therapy dysphonic participants and the participants who had normal voices were compared in this trial in order to ascertain how close the corrected voices approached normal vocal levels. A notable improvement was seen in the voices of the dysphonic participants in comparison to their pretherapy result. Although, their improvement was not commensurate with the voices of the normal participants. A significant difference between the two groups was noted in the findings. High agreement among the raters was depicted by both evaluation scales.
