Comparison of outcomes of different postoperative hormone therapy in the treatment of ovarian endometriosis: A brief report

Zhu S, et al. - The outcomes of progestin and gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) in the treatment of ovarian endometriosis after surgery was compared in this investigation. For this analysis, three hundred ninety-nine subjects with ovarian endometriosis were incorporated. Results of this study suggested that progestin, as well as GnRH, could significantly improve the conditions of patients with ovarian endometriosis after surgery, though progestin might be a better choice. After treatment, both therapies were challenged by the increased recurrence rate and endometrioma diameter.
