Silay MS, et al. - The authors comparatively scrutinized the outcomes of the open intravesical and extravesical procedures for unilateral primary vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) in children. It was determined that both the open intravesical and the extravesical UNC procedures were equally effective in the treatment of primary unilateral VUR. Surgeons could choose either technique based on their surgical experience.
