Umegaki T, et al. - In this large-scale multicenter study, the comparison of in-hospital outcomes between transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and surgical aortic valve replacements (SAVR) revealed better clinical outcomes with TAVI in patients with aortic valve stenosis. The improved outcomes were particularly notable in patients aged 80 years or older.
