Meier AW, et al. - Researchers, herein, tested their hypothesis that a continuous proximal adductor canal block (ACB) affords postoperative analgesia that is no worse than a continuous distal ACB in patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty (TKA). They found that postoperative analgesia provided by a continuous proximal ACB, in the first 24 hours after TKA, was noninferior to that offered by a distal continuous ACB.
