Comparison of central corneal thickness with four different optical devices
International Ophthalmology Oct 14, 2017
Teberik K, et al, et al. - This research undertook a comparative scrutiny of the consistency between the average scores of the contact central corneal thickness (CCT) measurements from ultrasound pachymetry devices, such as iPac and Echoscan US-500, and noncontact measurements through Pentacam HR and Sirius topography. It was noted that the devices compared herein could be used as alternatives to one another. This was attributed to the higher consistency between CCT measurements yielded by UP devices of Echoscan US-500 and iPac, and Pentacam HR and Sirius topography devices.
