Journal of Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology Dec 02, 2017

Fichtner S, et al. - This study entails comparison between 2 diagnostic approaches in terms of adverse events: electrophysiological examination (EPS) combined with coronary angiography (CA) vs consecutively performed EPS and CA. In addition to rare serious adverse events, no differences were evident between the combined approach of EPS and CA and the consecutive approach, however, with the combined approach, significantly less occurrence of AV fistula and groin hematoma needing transfusion, was reported and hence, a combined approach was preferred over a consecutive one.
