Both Ch, et al. – This study entails the development of a digital algorithm that allows continuous length–based estimation of weight and age. Researchers compared the new algorithm with the “Paediatric-Emergency-Ruler” (PaedER) with respect to accuracy in estimating bodyweight and recommendation of medical airway equipment. According to findings, the new digital algorithm represents an alternative to conventional emergency tapes and, displayed improved accuracy regarding length–based estimation of bodyweight and recommendation of medical airway equipment.
