Mina M, et al. - Herein, the effectiveness of microneedling with 5-flurouracil compared to its efficacy with tacrolimus in the treatment of vitiligo was studied. Findings suggested that for vitiligo, microneedling combined with 5-fluorouracil or tacrolimus was a safe and effective treatment. Nonetheless, a greater percentage of repigmentation was achieved by 5-fluorouracil vs tacrolimus, particularly in the acral parts.
