Shirani G, et al. – The effectiveness of alveolar cleft repair using iliac bone was compared with freeze–dried bone allograft (FDBA) in the presence of plasma rich in growth factors (PRGF). Accumulated evidence represented that due to the poor performance of the allograft, autografts were preferred in spite of possible donor site morbidity.
