Retina Nov 18, 2020
Gruchociak S, Djerada Z, Afriat M, et al. - The present study was conducted to compare the impact of intravitreal injections of air with gas on vitreomacular traction (VMT) release and attempt to examine predictive factors for success. Researchers enrolled 24 eyes of 22 patients. In VMT, posterior vitreous detachment can be observed with both air and gas injection with a low complication rate. It was shown that the occurrence of VMT release observed with air appeared to be less frequent than that observed with gas.
