Similar effectiveness and convenience of the chemical peeling using the 50% GA (pH 3.0) + 0.5% SA solution and the conventional peeling using Jessner's solution in the treatment of acne vulgaris were noted. The chemical peeling using buffered 50% glycolic acid (GA) (pH 3.0) + 0.5% salicylic acid (SA) solution could demonstrate less adverse events compared to the conventional peeling.
