Zash R, et al. – An observational study was conducted to compare the risk for selected birth outcomes by maternal antiretroviral treatment (ART) regimen. Investigations revealed that among infants exposed to ART from conception, tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, emtricitabine, and efavirenz (TDF–FTC–EFV) was associated with a lower risk for adverse birth outcomes as compared to other ART regimens.
