Fadini GP, et al. - In non-insulin treated patients with type 2 diabetes followed under routine care, researchers retrospectively compared the effectiveness of exenatide once-weekly (ExeOW) vs liraglutide. The study involved 410 patients on liraglutide and 204 patients on ExeOW. According to findings, the initiation of ExeOW offers similar benefits for HbA1c and body weight as the initiation of liraglutide in patients under routine care.
