Wang Z, et al. – In this meta-analysis, the effectiveness and adverse events of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and pharmacotherapy were explored in children with anxiety disorders. Outcomes approved the effectiveness of CBT and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) for reducing childhood anxiety symptoms. Based on the less consistent evidence, serotonin–norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors also appeared to be effective.
