Huebinger R, Vithalani V, Osborn L, et al. - Via analyzing 2014-2018 Texas-Cardiac Arrest Registry to Enhance Survival (CARES) data, researchers sought to describe racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic disparities in OHCA care and outcomes in Texas. Data on 18,488 OHCAs were included. Observations revealed large and unacceptable disparities in OHCA bystander response and outcomes among minority and poor neighborhoods in Texas.
