Lv Y, et al. - This research was designed to examine the utility of chromogranin-A (CgA) and neuron-specific enolase (NSE) individually and in combination for patients with nonfunctional pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (NF-pNETs). Among patients with NF-pNETs, CgA and NSE were important diagnostic and follow-up markers. Compared to the individual value of CgA and NSE, the combined monitor of CgA and NSE possessed more accuracy at predicting prognosis and disease progression.
