Lee J, et al. - This study tested paracetamol plus dexamethasone as a preventive strategy for postoperative sore throat (POST) after general anesthesia. Findings revealed that in patients receiving general anesthesia for urologic surgery, a combined treatment with paracetamol and dexamethasone infusion attenuated the incidence of POST without serious complications.
