Hogan J, et al. – An analysis was formulated to gauge the impact of combination therapy of rituximab and mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) in childhood lupus nephritis (LN). As per the observations, therapy with rituximab (RTX) + MMF combined with a rapid decrease in steroid appeared as an efficacious treatment for severe LN. However, it was associated with high rate of varicella–zoster virus (VZV) infection.
