Combination of acoustic radiation force impulse imaging, serological indexes and contrast-enhanced ultrasound for diagnosis of liver lesions
World Journal of Gastroenterology Aug 19, 2017
Sun XL, et al. – Purpose of this study was to evaluate the value of combined acoustic radiation force impulse (ARFI) imaging, serological indexes and contrast–enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in distinguishing between benign and malignant liver lesions. In distinguishing between benign and malignant liver lesions, the combination of shear wave velocity (SWV), serum alpha–fetoprotein (AFP) and enhancement rate had better diagnostic performance than the use of any single parameter or the combination of any two of parameters. It was expected that this would give a tool for the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant liver lesions.
