Collagenase followed by compression for the treatment of earlobe keloids

Dermatologic Surgery Jun 07, 2018

Bae-Harboe YSC, et al. - Experts assessed the safety and clinical efficacy of intralesional collagenase followed by compression for the treatment of earlobe keloids. At each visit, adverse events were assessed and the keloids were measured and photographed. Findings suggested safety and modest efficacy of intralesional collagenase followed by compression for earlobe keloids. Within 2 weeks the spontaneous resolution of side effects including injection site swelling, tenderness, and one ulceration was noted.
