Nordenvall C, et al. - Researchers aim to investigate whether colectomy prior to primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC)-diagnosis is associated with transplant-free survival. Findings reveal an association of colectomy prior to PSC-diagnosis with a decreased risk of liver transplantation or death in PSC-inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients.
