Fujino H, et al. - The authors elucidated whether specific cognitive abilities were impaired in patients with myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1). Moreover, they examined the relationships among quality of life (QoL), cognitive function, and psychological factors. Specific cognitive impairments were identified in DM1. Specific cognitive functions and psychological factors could be potential contributors to QoL.
