Daneshi A, et al. - Experts sought to examine the auditory performance and outcome of speech production in children with auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder (ANSD). They also assessed the effect of age on the outcomes of the surgery at the time of implantation. Following the cochlear implantation, the auditory performance and speech production skills of the children with ANSD exhibited a notable improvement. At the time of implantation, this improvement was affected by age.
