Davis NL, et al. – Authors planned to clarify the role of co–trimoxazole preventive therapy (CPT) in reducing leading causes of infectious morbidity. Based on the findings, CPT seemed to play an important role in reducing the leading global causes of morbidity and mortality in the growing population of HIV–exposed, uninfected infants (HEIs) in malaria–endemic resource–limited settings.
