Clinicopathological features and outcome of type 3 gastric neuroendocrine tumours
British Journal of Surgery Jul 17, 2018
Min BH, et al. - The clinicopathological features, biological behavior and appropriate treatment strategy for small and low-grade type 3 gastric neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) were assessed via analyzing data of patients with biopsy-proven gastric NET and a normal fasting serum gastrin level from a prospectively maintained database. Findings revealed non-aggressive features and a favorable prognosis for these NETs. For patients with type 3 gastric G1 NET no larger than 1.5 cm with no lymphovascular invasion, a valid option could be wedge or endoscopic resection.
