Clinicopathologic correlation of endometrial stromal sarcomas: A retrospective study of 42 cases

Wang F, et al. - Researchers assessed the clinicopathologic features and molecular markers related to the prognosis and diagnosis of endometrial stromal sarcomas (ESS) and analyzed the prognostic values. The age of the patients included in the study was from 20 to 74 years (mean: 45.5 years). Findings suggested a contribution of CyclinD1 positivity to tumor recurrence and malignancy associated with ESS. They noted a significant association of tumor classification, depth of invasion, and tumor stage with the recurrences.
