Gogia A, Deo SVS, Sharma D, et al. - An ambispective review of nearly 1,800 individuals who enrolled in breast cancer clinics between January 2012 and August 2018 was conducted in order to assess clinical and pathologic features and treatment outcomes in the patients with up-front metastatic breast cancer (MBC, most prevalent cancer in Indian females). This was the first comprehensive study of MBC from India. Hormone receptor-positive status, oligometastasis (five or fewer metastases affecting one or two organs), and good performance status were found out to be related to superior outcomes.
