Horvat N, et al. - The variations in pre-operative surgical planning after CT colonography (CTC) for patients with occlusive colorectal cancer (CRC) and incomplete colonoscopy (IC) in an oncology hospital were determined. The CTC contributed to a change in the initial surgical plan of the surgeon for 21.5% of patients, which in turn, led to the optimization of the surgical management plan due to the pre-operative CTC findings in these individuals.
