Wilkerson EC, et al. - Authors ascertained the safety and effectiveness of focused ultrasound device (UltraShape, Syneron Candela, Yokneam, Israel) for noninvasive thigh fat reduction. As per the data, to improve the circumference and fat thickness of the thighs without significant side effects, focused ultrasound was safe, effective, and well tolerated. Results did not demonstrate any significant adverse events. In any subject, no adverse events were reported; no oedema was observed. All reported zero pain on a 0-10 scale. High satisfaction regarding the device was seen in the investigators and subjects.
