Beyea JA, et al. - This paper explored the clinical determinants for multiple tympanostomy tube (TT) procedures in children. Among Ontario children who have had TT placement, more than one in four was expected to have multiple sets placement. These identified risk factors allow improved preoperative counseling and aid in the identification of children who need closer follow-up.
