Vaclavik D, et al. - The clinical outcome of cardioembolic stroke (CS) was evaluated in patients treated with intravenous thrombolysis (IVT). No association was observed between cardioembolic strokes with increased mortality. Patients with CS were less likely to have symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) and had a better outcome after IVT.
