Clinical oral profile of pediatric patients with atopic dermatitis: A cross‐sectional study

Oral Diseases Nov 19, 2020

Sodré CS, de Carvalho Ferreira D, Vieira MS, et al. - This study was undertaken to investigate the impact of several variables on the diagnosis of dental caries in these patients. Researchers examined a sum of 92 children and adolescents with Atopic Dermatitis. The multiple binary logistic regression model was applied to evaluate the impact of independent variables on the diagnosis of dental caries (outcome). The data imply that the presence of dental biofilm, the use of inhaled corticoid, and type of teething are related to the presence of caries in Atopic Dermatitis individuals.
