Lee DW, et al. - This trial was formulated in order to gauge the efficacy of ingenol mebutate (IM) gel for the treatment of Bowen's disease (BD). In addition, experts sought to identify the therapeutic effect of IM alone or IM along with the ablative fractional laser pretreatment. The therapeutic value of IM gel alone appeared to be limited in the case of BD. Nevertheless, its therapeutic effectiveness could be increased via a combination therapy with the ablative fractional laser.
