Kawashima M, et al. – A comparative assessment was performed of the clinical efficacy and safety of benzoyl peroxide (BPO) for acne vulgaris between Japanese and Western patients. No notable variations were detected with regard to the efficacy and safety of BPO between the study cohort. Hence, the conclusion drawn was that the efficacy and safety of long–term use in Japanese patients could be applicable to those in Western patients.
