Chen Q, et al. - Researchers performed a comparison of the clinical effect of emergency cervical cerclage and elective cervical cerclage on pregnancy outcome in the cervical-incompetent pregnant women. Findings revealed that compared to elective cerclage, emergency cerclage had lower gestation age and birth weight and increased the risk of PROM.
