Clinical and therapeutic aspects of linear psoriasis: A study of 30 cases
American Journal of Clinical Dermatology Apr 13, 2018
Say M, et al. - In a large-scale study, researchers sought to better understand linear psoriasis (LP) (a very rare form of psoriasis). A wide range of LP was identified, with two profiles: Isolated LP and superimposed LP. Findings suggested that usually clinical response was evoked with topical treatment, with relative resistance to systemic therapy. LP could possibly be unmasked with methotrexate and anti-tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α therapies. Compared to classical psoriasis, treatments were less effective in LP.
