Circulating sCD27 and sCD30 in pre-diagnostic samples collected fifteen years apart and future non-Hodgkin lymphoma risk
International Journal of Cancer Dec 24, 2018
Purdue M, et al. - Researchers analyzed 235 cases and 235 controls in a case-control study in Washington County, Maryland to evaluate the risk of developing non-Hodgkin lymphoma risk (NHL) in future with the help of circulating sCD27 and sCD30 in pre-diagnostic samples collected 15 years apart. They observed the strongest association of NHL in joint analyses for sCD30 in both the groups especially for cases diagnosed >10 years. They suggested sCD27 as a disease marker for NHL with the indication that raised circulating sCD30 implied increased NHL susceptibility.
