Circulating B cells in type 1 diabetics exhibit fewer maturation-associated phenotypes

Hanley P, et al. - This study assessed B cell developmental progression in type 1 diabetes (T1D) using immunophenotyping. Findings revealed that variable maturation phenotypes were exhibited by circulating B cells in T1D. Data also suggested a possible correlation of these phenotypic variations with differences in B cell selection in individual T1D patients.
